Just installed a 3 filter UV unit from UV Water Systems here in Timaru. I am delighted with the unit - its very well built and looks fantastic. Stuart was very helpful and easy to deal with. I hope Stuart changes his freight company in the future though. Mainfreight left our unit in Hamilton on its way to Timaru for a week. Nobody at that company seemed to be interested in finding out why that had happened or chasing it up. It took numerous phone calls to get it sorted. I would not recommend Mainfreight.

Rung the workshop had a discussion with STUART explained what was happening to my system Answered very good and went to Auckland depot meet with Stuart He showed me changing of filters UV LIGHT and cleaning of Quartz sleeve VERY CLEAR AND MOST HELPFUL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THANKS STUART COLIN

System works very well with our rain water tanks and the service and advice has also been very good

I can thoroughly recommend Stewart and UV Water Systems. We purchased a three filter 'gold something' UV system from UV Water Systems back in 2013. It worked brilliantly even on aquifer water that was 'heavy metal ' infested. Since installation we noticed a gradual water seepage from pitting at the ends of the UV chamber and then during a routine service I managed to crack the UV glass tube sending water onto the filament and blowing the ballast system. This occurred during our 'team of 5 million' lock-down. I rang Stewart who advised that the early versions of the system we bought suffered a manufacturing issue and to send it back to UV. This wasn't going to be an option so I bought a replacement system complete for the main house on our lifestyle block and thought I'd get the original refurbished for a Cottage on the same property. All this happened while I had been made redundant so affordability was an issue. Long story short - new system arrived and was installed by plumber son (in our bubble). Broken bits sent back to Stewart who had the chamber refurbished at his risk (I couldn't afford it at time). Now I'm back in employment I can (and have done) get the whole original system reassembled and put to work on the Cottage which has become a bit of a haven for those suffering from COVID related woes (needing a place to stay). Stewart, your customer focus cannot be faulted, your company's ethics cannot be faulted and neither can your product. The new system incorporates some new technology, and I have no doubt that the old one coming back as refurbished parts to be put back together as a system will serve people in need as we work through COVID-19. You will be glad (or sad) to know that you are on speed-dial. For those considering a really good filtration/treatment system talk to Stewart - you won't go wrong. Folks this is an excellent product and backed up by second-to-none after sales service. You almost feel as if you are part of a UV Water systems 'family'.
